Activity Description:

Within a badminton quadrant, groups of three
pass a beanbag to each other, focussing on effective passes.

Rules:

Short, quick, underhand passes.

No return passes (may not pass to person who
passed it to you).

Teaching Points:

Use entire space (badminton quadrant).

Show target and signal for pass.

Toss with a trajectory that makes the ball
easy to catch.

Organization Points:

Begin stationary before progressing to walking,
jogging, and then running.

Replace beanbag with a ball when students
show proficiency in passing.

Groups of three are ideal, but partners or
groups of four will also work.
